HGTV’s smash hit Design Star is casting for a new season and we are scouring the country for a whole new cast of designers

Forget what you think you know about Design Star – this season has a whole new layout!

We are looking for top-notch interior designers who have the experience, aesthetic and wow factor to become the next big HGTV Design Star.

Do you think you have what it takes to host your own series on HGTV? Would you love the challenge of competing in a design-based reality show? Here's your chance!

HGTV is now casting expert interior designers, architects, or construction professionals who are at least 21 year old who have the skills, artistry and personality to compete for the ultimate prize – Hosting your very own show in HGTV! So if you have the right treatment and can turn any space into your signature room, we want to hear from you.

HGTV Design Star is an on-air competition to name the network's next star. Approximately 10 finalists will compete in design-based challenges with one to two designers being eliminated each week. The contestants will be narrowed until the winner is announced in the final episode of the series.
